So then, it /is/ a dream sequence. That helps a few things. Even if it turns out not to be true, I still love that last statement, I know professors who have that kind of one track mindset about ‘their little projects’ which is pretty adorable in a lot of ways.
Certainly happening within the mind, but I’m pretty sure thanks to telepathy, it’s all really happening and won’t evaporate once someone wakes up. …Well technically it will, but it’s not a ‘dream’ dream, like…from fever hallucinations or something. If that even makes any sense XD I think I’ve just confused myself. But Ma Archanis DID express interest in teaching Jigsaw in the waking world. So that’s why I think this is real even if it’s not happening in reality.
Also I just have to add, Ma Archanis seems to see her mind-avatar as some sort of Rapunzel figure. Grandma, what long hair you have!
Also I see a potential loophole for Jigsaw’s arrangement with Veled. Jigsaw isn’t supposed to go around advertizing she’s a vampire, but what if other vampires figure it out on their own? Can she then speak openly with that vampire about her condition? And I can’t help wondering if ‘grad students’ means other vampires specifically sired by Ma Archanis. Perhaps she takes it upon herself to tutor any new vampires she makes in the ways of their kind….
“learning fast…” honey prof, that isn’t learning, that’s remedial work, given all the lessons ‘Saw’s gone through since she arrived. Last Res0rt is Conspiracy Theory and Power Games 201, at least.
I’m going to take a second to note – that ‘Saw’s new professor specifically only wants to meet her when they’re both in bed. and be together for as much of the night as possible.
Her plans are going great because Jigsaw is learning fast? I may be seeing a connection that isn’t there, but now I’m curious about the relationship between Grandma and Irwin.
I think it’s more along the lines that her plans are going great and that she surprised the jigsaw has realized already that she’s planning on using her for her plans
Most versions of vampires depict them as either sterile or at least infertile, only able to breed once in a while. Versions that can breed have odd relationships. Does this mean that Daisy is a Damphir like vampire hunter D? Or is the infection not passed down from parents.
@e_voyager: She could also have plans in which Jigsaw has already been used, such as putting a Dead Inside where none should be where all the world could see her. We don’t know that the Otherworlders have no non-Otherworlder servants.
@Ganurath well it’s hard to say either way. s for the whole dead inside where none should be. That generally is interpreted as a dead inside being made from something that should not be able to be made into a dead inside at least not have a specific type of dead inside they has become. It would be tantamount to a Celeste especially a high soul power celeste s such as veiled becoming a zombie, or light children such as Daisy and white noise becoming vampires.
@rayn it is doubtful. Daisy is a light child. And as jigsaw put it while there may be side effects you do not inherit your parents djinn status just because they were a djinn when you were born. that is why Jason and his sister are not blood djinn like their mother was
@e_voyager: I suppose Scout Kuvaela turning into a zombie during the opening episode of the show wouldn’t count, then, if they’re assuming “none should be” means “none could be.”
Of course, it would behoove them to ponder a saying about assuming.
Ruh roh. The plot, she thickens.

vampire grad students… is there a line or a warning pamphlet?
some cousins have such a complex relationship

Shad: Dream hair that goes down to your ankles isn’t such a pain to shampoo as the real world kind. 🙂

“What do you want to do tonight, Gran?”
“Same thing we do every night, Jiggy…”
(Sorry, I couldn’t resist…I blame the sinus meds.”
