The First Time was Coincidence.
Note: So now that I have your attention…
You may have noticed the big bar up top designed to grab your attention and convince you to become a Patron of Last Res0rt. I suggest you click on it and pitch in, as I intend on using it to do something that you’ve been asking me to do for a while: Speed things up.
Full details are here, and there’s plenty of rewards, from exclusive postcards mailed to your door to adding new content to the comic, and plenty of stretch goals to unlock, including increasing the update schedule (or as needed, big ol’ splashy double-page spreads like this one), additional content, and a few ideas I’ve been toying with but haven’t been able to do given my current “budget”.
I bet its jigsaws mind isn’t paralyzed with pain she’s taking not again. I wonder how they going to save her. This time since she’s a fully awakened vampire now.
DUN DUN DUNNNN…
*heart attack*
*dies*
Well, THAT escalated quickly!
On a side note I would gladly become a Patron… if I had money to spare. I’ve been searching for employment for a couple months now and the search has been anything but kind to me. 🙁
This kills the puzzle.
If the bullet stays lodged in her heart, does that keep her from regenerating and turning into a murder kitty?
For those unaware, the full saying is “Once is coincidence. Twice is enemy action.”
Now, the action may be to reveal that she’s vampy, as opposed to actually trying to kill her.
Interestingly enough, the trajectory is too flat to have come from the previous room’s windows. Given how both ‘Saw/Jason and Granny descended/moved. interesting thing is that she is specifically “stake’d” – not shot. Someone was loaded for vamps. I wonder if it was for Granny Vamp, not furry vamp, however…
I just hope that, between tone and Elder Vampire Influence, they can keep her Zombie under control. The lighting will keep her graying from being noticed, but it won’t matter if she tears anyone apart (well, she could tear into Jason, but the stage area has proper lighting at the moment, so, no good).
@Kermit: Since the heart is unneeded except to fake being alive, I’d say getting something lodged in it would actually prolong the murder kitty issue.
Hey, everyone, back our authoress! you know she’s awesome!
This all depends on how vampires work in LR. I have seen variations in weaknesses, strengths, etc. of vampires in a number of movies, TV shows, books & comics, etc.
I thought the saying was
once this happenstance
twice is coincidence and
three times is enemy action
Well, you’ve gone and done killed your main character. Now how the bloody hell are you gonna continue the story when you done killed of your main character? Someone knew enough about what she was to stake her. Bummer! I liked Jigsaw. She was the most cuddly vampire I’ve ever seen! (Now THERE’S a sentence you don’t hear every day!
Hole-y action TV stars!
Our principle preferred paramor has been perdifforously punctuatedby a probing projectile!
It occurs to me that if she’s got decent glitter, then it will just repair the damage before it becomes a real problem. I’d bet that there’s also the whole “talmi + vampire = impossible” thing going there too.
