@Sul: She can’t tone – that’s Celeste. Also it looks like Celeste telepathy is really enhanced by contact, the way someone guessed, earlier. Anyone else try to read ‘Saw’s mental scramble?
@The_Rippy_One: Essentially, she’s panicking a bit. She’s thinking about how they chucked Jason into one of those pods, thinking about the lack of adults and staff on the ship, and concerned about how many empty pods there are. Oh, and she’s written off “ransom” as a reason for being trapped on the ship.
The glitter pool is made of the bodies of all the people from the rehab deck. The cells move around constantly so that new ones can go under the pool. The pool then floods the cell with glitter, dissolving anyone inside and destroying the evidence of their presence. When the person has been absorbed, the remains drain out and are recycled into the pool. Gabriel can then use the glitter passively to manufacture the corrupted strain that keeps his captives from leaving, and heighten his reality-warping powers by increasing the amount of ambient glitter in the ship’s atmosphere.
@Elliott: I’m not in the habit of providing a transcript because what usually happens is that some amount of the text gets lost / obscured completely thanks to running off the edges or being covered up by other stuff.
Doesn’t help that sometimes I “rasterize” these layers so actually providing a transcript means I’m often stuck retyping all that text.
@Sulucamas The SCP Foundation researcher in me likes the idea that everything from Daisy’s new leg to the food they’ve been eating is made from recycled corpse proteins.
@thebobmaster It’s already established that there’s a certain amount of glitter in everyone’s bodies, so the victims’ glitter might be rolled back into the pool while the organic components are recycled as soylent paste.
I’m rooting for Gabe to try this on Saw, only to discover late that it’s a REALLY BAD IDEA to submerge a vampire in enough glitter to drown an elephant. That’s my current best guess as to how Saw winds up with an oversoul.
@kermit wait saw has a oversoul? i thought that one pic of hers was either non cannon or displayed an off mutation that she underwent that had nothing to do with Celeste. maybe some deep vampire forum attained centuries too early
@e_voyager She doesn’t yet, but I’m led to believe that she’ll get one at some point because of a piece of early concept art that shows color schemes for Jigsaw’s normal, “zombie” and “diamond” forms. Here’s the link:
Jekkal’s comment on the ‘diamond’ form is as follows:
“Diamond ‘Saw is Jigsaw’s ultimate form and only accessible when Jigsaw has an oversoul (i.e. has her complete soul and then some). In Diamond form, Jigsaw’s claws and teeth can tear through most alloys, and her strength increases exponentially based on how much extra soul she has. Eyes glow, with golden irises and white pupils.”
In my headcanon, vampires’ soul levels are directly proportional to the amount of glitter they have. The Zombie form is triggered when they burn through glitter to regenerate from a near-fatal injury, and the Diamond form is inaccessible without enormous amounts of glitter.
@kermit i think you may have missed the part about me saying i thought it was non cannon. jekkel is an old account after all. still glitter and soul are likely two different things it’s more like means that if jigsaw pulls a veled on some one and noms them she can enter diamond mode. calling it diamond mode makes sense since most life that we know of is carbon based and a vampire is a life djinn
The character sheet says that the wings either appear at will or as a mandatory part of the diamond form. There’s no reason why Rachel has to stick to every detail of a 6-year-old planning document, but I take it as tentative evidence until we have more information.
@kermit heh nicely pointed out Kermit. but i don’t know how far this if going to deviate from her original plans either way i can’t wait to see where jigsaw is going from here. i miss those live stream brodcaste she used to do of her drawing the comic

Wonder what happens when a reality warping nut-job finds out someone’s been playing with his head…
I think he was trying to tone her. nice try jigsaw too bad you gambit backfired some.
He’s so lucky and Jigsaw is so caught in the act.
@nikolai60: Indeed, even if he isn’t the whimzer, he’s still in a position to do quite a bit. Reality warping or in the hole, non sound pleasant.
Oh, By the way.
If it’s your birthday today Jigsaw, happy birthday!
Happy birthday, Jigsaw! Speaking of Jigsaw…she’s in a bit of an issue, isn’t she?
The title of this page is so true.
Murphy’s law strikes again…with a little help from reality warping powers.
Oh wow, things have gotta get a bit weird when two play at that game. 😐
Now I’d like to see her talk her way out of this… or Tone her way out! 😮
( Happy birthday, Jig! 🙂 )
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

Have a happy!
Guess contact mind-reading isn’t unique to Veled.

@The_Rippy_One: I was thinkin’ she might have picked up another trick from Rei. 😉
There’s some good stuff in that scramble! It’s interesting that Jigsaw seems so confident that the kids on the ship aren’t being held for rans0m…
On pages like this do we ever get to see a transcript of that background text?
Well looks like a case of Deja Vu…..
Happy birthday Jiggy!
Oh snap, I think I figured out what’s going on!

i didn’t know yesterday was your birthday Jigsaw just like my little brother. happy belated birthday Jigsaw
O-O Pretty much suprised.
@Kermit: Whoa, that’s terrifying! And very coherent. 😈
I hope Gabriel spills the beans on how the glitter helps his magic before he takes a dip in his own pool.
@Sulucamas The SCP Foundation researcher in me likes the idea that everything from Daisy’s new leg to the food they’ve been eating is made from recycled corpse proteins.
@Kermit: Soy, glitter=Soylent Green?

@Kermit: Hear hear! 😀
Diamond mode? I suppose it’s sort of analogous to Efreet..though like many thing vampiric, temporary…
Hey Sul, you know what this means, right? We get to write more rules without enough information! XD
@e_voyager Indeed, I consider that picture to be non-canon as well. The reason why I think it might still be relevant comes from this comic:

The character sheet says that the wings either appear at will or as a mandatory part of the diamond form. There’s no reason why Rachel has to stick to every detail of a 6-year-old planning document, but I take it as tentative evidence until we have more information.
@The_Rippy_One: No complaints here; that’s half the fun! 😉

Silly Jigsaw! You know that one in a million odds happen nine times out of ten!
