Uh oh it seems like someone knows. I’ve never actually thought I would see him take a moment to discuss something hey way from others so that he does give away an unpleasant true
I want to know why he’s getting that look from his wife XD Is she trying to keep him from spilling too much info? Or is she upset that he’s being helpful to the guy who just shot their granddaughter?
Also the PAUSED frame makes me crack up for some reason.
Well that got really awkward about Ace’s parents. One could only wonder what Daisy and Crazy Old Fenirel used to get into in their old careers as scouts.
@The_Rippy_One: Also raises all sorts of questions about Ace and his sisters childhood. Like did they have to be litter trained before they learned to use the toilet. I mean, Ace did mention his mom took him to the vet to get him fixed.
@ von Corax…better than saying she screwed the pooch, I suppose!
I’d bet that Julian’s about to get whatfor about witholding information from his spouse, as well as witholding information that might put their daughter in danger!
… Has anyone else noticed a sudden influx of comments involving mention of blogs and social media written in poor english? I didn’t really pay it much mind until one of them decided to throw a resurrection post on another comic I posted on last year (October 13th),but last weeks comic in particular appears to have several examples of this. I am not sure what the deal is, but it seems somewhat spammy…
As a few others have mentioned already, it should be “lay with dogs” rather than “lied with” – due to the fact that ‘lay’ is one of those weird words that never quite works how you think it should, you tend to see ‘lied with’ more often if the speaker is implying that the person in question is telling untruths, rather than doing something sexual.
The truth is, there’s two forms for how ‘lay’ can be used: lay, lie, lied; and lay, lie, lay.
The problem is, that the first set are easily confused with ‘lie’ (to say something untrue): lie, lies, lied. So to avoid that, people usually turn the past-tense of ‘lay’ into ‘lay’ rather than ‘lied’.
oops, dang it all, never mind, don’t want the participle with that subject/verb. if it were “she has” or “she had” instead of the flat “your mother.” dang it brain keep up.

Well, we got an official answer to a few questions there lol. From the look on their faces I’d say he’s in a pretty deep grave right about now…
…please tell me Daisy didn’t inject Fenirel with Doggy Spunk… -_(\
@starcat5
Okay I won’t tell you, I’ll just think it really loudly in your general direction.
@star eh, she coulda just made fenirel THINK she was a dog in heat.

Frankly, given Feneril’s reputation, I’m sort of surprised that no one is actually wondering if she did screw the pooch at some point…

Confused Jason puppy is adorable.
She lied with dogs? That’s disturbing, and confusing, but at least she didn’t _lay_ with dogs. ‘Cause, that would just be perverted.
Looks like daddy bucks a millon is in the hot seat now
I’m starting to wonder what type of history feniral and aerial had when they were both scouts

Well-said, meowwl.
I apologize, Ms. Keslensky; I’m actually not normally much of a grammar-Nazi, but that particular mis-useage really bothers me for some reason.
Looks like his wife is going to open up a big can of whoop ass on him! XD
Surprisingly classy behavior from Tactless, but then again I guess this is his forte.
@Josh.C: I almost don’t want all the gory details about their childhood. Sounds like it was shitty, regardless. 🙁
@Lavabat: Aye! Now we may actually find out if they’re broadcasting from the same location. 😮

Actually, you want the past participle, which, in this case is “lain”
oops, dang it all, never mind, don’t want the participle with that subject/verb. if it were “she has” or “she had” instead of the flat “your mother.” dang it brain keep up.
The_Rippy_One: Well, if she had lain with dogs, then both she and the dogs may have lied about it.
Gotta keep up reputations, you know. 😉
does anyone else get the impression that Daisy is mothers mad with Julian do to him telling Jason too much?
@ The Rippy One. I think the word everyone is hunting for is “Laid”
One does have to wonder, what kind of bat guano insane was Fenirel, that her kids turned out with such a boatload of resentment and hate for Daisy…
