oh my BOB? Well religion does change every couple decades doesn’t it? still I have to hand it to tactless. when the opponent is basically begging to be taken advantage of he doesn’t miss a beat. He even let Jason know that the reason why more was being added on was because he asked for it.
Next. Oh Goody! Jason gets shot and we find out what the heck he is! Also, so, silver is bad…They’re sci-fi spiritual werewolves? I’m about 4 flavors of giddy here.
Given that my theory is that the “Wonder Twins” here are upset that Daisy ~didn’t~ kill off their mother, thus inflicting the old bag of crazy upon them until the ***** was confined to a mental institution… I would have to say that while I don’t believe that “curing” them would make things even, it would get them to stop trying to kill her.
@nikolai60: I imagine doing a web search for “I am a werewolf” hasn’t been very helpful, let alone getting a medical professional to take him seriously. 😛
@Starcat5: That’s a really metal theory, considering the the Year of Fear started three years before Jason was born! 🙂
Okay, clearly I was tired, because this should have been a blindingly obvious possiblity.
Her kids are Djinn Mei as well. Which is why she knows so much about it. it isn’t holigraphy, they literally have two equally valid, perfectly natural, forms, Tamli and Human. makes me curious to know if they have a third, like Ja/Sunny does…(Human, Celesti(?), Dog).
I wonder if the gene-/spiritual-influence that made Daisy’s kids Djinn Mei is what also allowed Jigsaw to be vamp’d.
I see what you’re saying, but what I mean is, he’s seemed so stuck on killing her that it overrode everything no matter what. I get that for normal people fix me > vendetta.
I can almost see Jason’s tail wagging like crazy in that last panel.
….He has a tail in this form, right? I don’t think I’ve paid attention (or else I don’t think we’ve had a clear view) but as a canine base I can only assume…
I had thought Daisy’s knowledge would have more to do with that nebulous “Soul Code” thing, but that seems totally possible (or even linked). Perhaps Maggie didn’t show a third, intermediate form because she has more control than JaSunny. If this is all true, Daisy’s kids must hold great significance for a great many people, given their lineage. 😯
@nikolai60: Nah, I was just making light. You’re right, it IS weird that this one thing derailed him like that, cause with what we’ve seen he’s certainly not a normal person. But hey, maybe this is Jason’s distraction ploy, buying time while their spines pop back into place! 😈
@Shad: Nice catch! Daisy might even have some empathy for Jason’s situation, since there was surely a time when she couldn’t control her powers either. 😮
@Sulucamas: To be fair, I was only nebulously aware of everyone’s ages aligned with each other, and the relevant timeline. It isn’t exactly flow charted after all. Frankly, I thought ol` Mommy Dearest was a much older lass, and Jason was closer to Daisy’s age. Clearly, I was wrong.

Jason is of the Church of the SubGenius?
better be SubSubGenius…

Julian sure is being a good distraction here.
Though I wonder if Ace’s sister will be as easily distracted?
Beautiul :3
Can I join you with that flavoring,@The_Rippy_one?
I’m still trying to comprehend that there’s actually something that overrides his bloody vendetta right now!
suffering a life long malady will do that to you Nikolai

Gross! Colors! 😀

Okay, the brain continues on. there are many interesting implications – Jigsaw, we wuv you you crazy wonderful author!
Going back and re-reading a bit… I think I finally get what Daisy meant when she said she could help Jason, he just needed to ask first. Back on this page. https://www.lastres0rt.com/2013/07/hes-a-man-capable-of-great-change/
Shad: Jason’s as excited as if he was getting TWO Scooby snacks. 😉
@The_Rippy_One: More like Djinn Maybe. 😉
