Getting that proper balance for a team must be significantly more difficult when dealing with inmates on death row.
Considering what just a volunteer like Xanatos leaving them there. Backstabbing isn’t just expected, it’s probably going to be a fact of life on this show. ^^
Looks like one of those heads is holding back a laugh.
After all that work to make us hate his guts though…now Geisha is getting POSITIVE screentime!??!?!? I’m not sure what I think of him anymore…I mean, is he really forgiveable for his previous crimes…?
Hold it, who’s the second one? We know he picked Geisha, but Addy’s already an executioner so…uh…not a lot of choices left…*prays it’s not the Celeste…*
And the new Team Andromeda Executioner is…Gangrel?!
I’d bet White wouldn’t consider Arikos for Executioner for the same reasons he rejected him as Lieutenant. Maybe he’ll go with Siege, since she actually followed orders and saved Cypress?
(Were they doing some kind of…salute on the last page?)
Gangrel is arguably a better choice than at least half of the members of the Last Resort cast.
Then again, most of the contestants are people that you wouldn’t want to meet without a security detail and at least one secure barrier between you and them. And earplugs. Just in case.
Arikos is probably the worst to take on a rescue mission. He knows that Jigsaw is a Dead Inside and he’s a prick to boot. Plus, we don’t know if he can Tone people or if his injuries disabled that ability. Or if White Noise was immune.
@Sulucamas: Technically it’s the Sterling version of the Star Org’s salute — “Wings out”, as it were — but that’s one habit that White Noise hasn’t kicked over the years.
I have to admit, I was a little lost between the ending of the last chapter and the beginning portion of the new one, but things are finally coming into place.
Interesting to see Geisha get such a position of power. I hope he becomes a permanent replace for Jason; after the fiasco that jerk helped cause… I hold not even one ounce of pity for that jackass.
Well, this is an interesting opportunity to get some other characters some screentime. We haven’t seen Zodiac do much lately, come to think of it. Siege has already demonstrated hacking abilities… a definite plus…. and wasn’t there a sniper in the mob somewhere? Might be good to have one since Jason’s MIA… lots of choices.
It must be odd, being one of the snake-hair things. Probably don’t get much choice in what’s going on, can’t do much besides look snarky.
I wonder if Qin will use any of his new abilities in the rescue attempt, if only covertly.

This…is going to have interesting results…

@nikolai60: Me too. But his Toning might come in handy if they have to deal with those speakers again.
Now Xanatos and his leaving those four and Cypress behind would be a choice that I wouldn’t want watching my back in that situation.

Awesome as always. I love the banter and the artwork keeps going from superlative to “OMG!”
I can see a Sybee doll giving them a boost in ratings if only for the “what-the-heck” factor. This should be very interesting.

the ability to salute in a sarcastic manner has always been a hallmark of great leaders
i have to had it to Geisha it’s always good to know one’s one strengths and limitations.

Now THAT is the coolest Gorgon I’ve ever seen. Plus I guess the mask keeps folks from turning into stone…maybe?
@ Brunhidden *lubs* So utterly true.
