Err… the muscles in Jig’s hand have turned blue. Why has her raw hamburger hand turned blue? I also don’t remember her Dead Eyes being purple, but I haven’t checked the archive to be sure on that point. *Checks* Yup. Black, not purple.
Finally, it turns out that Jig isn’t TOTALLY immune to Tone. Nice to know.
Did everyone except Daisy just get Toned?! 😮
Also, excellent censorship! 😛
I was guessin’ Binary from the eye color, but is the title suggesting otherwise?
I think the purple eyes are just the transition color between the blue Normal Eyes and the red, rage-induced Dead Eyes. The blue hand could be magical healing or a glitter scaffold or…Force Lightning?! 😕
I’m wondering if Jig *did* get Toned there…or if her reaction is just pole-axed stunned surprise at who the voice is (and possibly that they’re saying *please* with the Toning. 🙂 ) I’m wondering if it might be Veled.. 🙂
vampires like zombies(they have a second zombie form remember) can choose to ignore structural damage that is less then loosing a limb. i think Jig was about to go zombie form melee on Jason when she was toned and stopped. she was also distracted probably negating some of her tone resistance.
@Drathorin: I’m betting that the reason it’s taking the wound so long to get to Daisy is the glitter she has in her. Jason figures it’s not enough to keep her from bleeding out long term. But, your body can compensate for shock to a certain extent. The glitter could extend that by limiting bleeding, helping reabsorb water out of the undamaged portions of the gut, etc. You still ultimately go into decompensated shock, just like a bandage on a massive wound will delay you bleeding out but may not be enough to stop that. The glitter is likely also helping with the pain.

There aren’t any muscles left in that part of her hand. I’m pretty sure the blue is either just a lighting effect or the start of her vamping out.
Either Gabriel wants everybody alive, or Siege has been doing some amazing hacking while nobody was looking.
I’m pretty sure that’s either Jig vamping out or the nanomachines getting to work.
Hmm… glowing blue bones in Jigsaw’s hand?
I wonder if this means Vampires can shoot “plasma” blasts.
All kidding aside, he’s lucky Jigsaw didn’t go into a rage and tear his face off.
so much for that Talmi bonus to tone resistance.
also: i’m guessing that blue color is the nanos doing their job
OK, I just got confused. But then again, I think that’s what was supposed to happen here.

It could be one of the kids they ran into earlier.
Just curious, but how is Jig moving her fingers with no tendons or muscles connecting on those 3 fingers?
Also why isn’t the gut wound causing …shock or blood loss?

The Tone under Gabe’s message says “Leave her alone!” Not terribly surprising, I suppose.
